We are located on the South Shore of Nova Scotia at Riverport. We are inspired by the environment and able to capture unique interpretations of the wonderful land and seascapes that surround us – from the old world charm of the town of Lunenburg (UNESCO World Heritage site) to Peggy's Cove and inland to the Annapolis Valley and indeed far beyond around the world!
Both Shirley and Ewan have a passion for exploring and discovering fascinating places – both by accident and design! Through our travels we have endeavoured to capture elements of nature and architecture, so whether you like the abstract or a more traditional aspect... hopefully you too can 'discover' something that also inspires you!
Ewan's lifetime of photography stems back to an old Box Brownie and a $5 Russian camera... taking photographs on the West Coast of Scotland... the resulting portfolio gained a prestigious place studying photography at Edinburgh Napier University (back in the days of film and developing by hand!). Now, all his images are taken with a full frame Nikon Digital SLR and 'processed' via the digital darkroom! Unlike a lot of photographs you see, ours have little to no processing... after all, the skill is in the composition and timing!
